Dartmouth College East Wheelock Sorority

North Branch Construction was chosen as Construction Manager for the interior gut demolition and rebuild of the East Wheelock Sorority building on the Dartmouth College campus. Construction included a meeting room addition, two new stair towers, and the removal and rebuild of 80% of the roof frame of the three-story building. Mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems were all replaced. This was a hyper-track project of a historic, 100 year-old building. The building is the home of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. Construction continued on a fast-track summer schedule, achieving a Certificate of Occupancy several days ahead of the contract schedule. Haynes & Garthwaite Architects provided the design for the project.
