Responsibilities:
· Performs and completes a variety of carpentry tasks with quality workmanship to construct, repair, or modify buildings or facilities; tasks may include interior/exterior trim, siding systems, framing, cabinetry, countertops, mill work, and installation window and doors installation, commercial doors frames and hardware, and light demo.
· Safely and efficiently operate a variety of power and hand tools to complete jobs accurately and to specifications.
· Protects furnishings, equipment, and other property during carpentry tasks.
· Follows standard safety precautions; adheres to operator’s instructions when using power tools; wears recommended protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protectors, and/or work gloves.
· Performs other relate duties as assigned.

- Select list of hand tools required.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
- Ability to travel up to an hour to jobsites.

Your key responsibilities will be to serve as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles. This position must demonstrate an understanding of how the business runs, how to handle changing circumstances, and who to contact when there are questions. The role encompasses cross-functional communication with a key focus on prioritization, organization and critical thinking. It is essential to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical for success are the abilities to work independently and as a part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal customer needs.
- Review project specifications and plans; create project description and initial bid list to meet project specifications.
- Manage bid delivery system and perform bid invite follow up calls to subcontractors and vendors.
- Provide takeoff support and specific product pricing.
- Obtain building permit fee schedule, review permit requirements, prepare permit documents for submission of building permit applications.
- Research Specialty Subcontractors as needed for specific projects.
- Provide Project Managers with Bid Day Support: Subcontractor Bid Comparisons, Calling Subcontractors and Vendors, Bid Submission Package.
- Using AIA template create and modify contracts and prepare bonds and insurance documentation.
- Prepare meeting schedules and agendas various startup, kickoff, pre-job planning, distribution lists, and reinstallation meetings in varies Project Software.
- Support document management to include submittal log establishment and upload, plans and specs upload and review, etc.
- Support submittal reviews and submissions specific to DFH, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, electrical and specialty items.
- Buyout of specialty items for project specific requirements.
- Subcontract writing, division specific.
- Distribution of purchase orders to Superintendent. Obtain purchase order review and approval from Superintendents for project specific.
- Write owner change proposals.
- Owner billing preparation (transfers/PCI’s/OCO’s) and billing package assembly.
- Work with Project Managers and Business Development team to advance NBC’s business development with architects, clients and subcontractors.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Executive Director of Project Management.
- Write subcontractor change orders.
- Possess solid data-entry, organization, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to move from concept to finished documentation independently.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills including email, Internet, Microsoft Suite, ERP Systems, AIA Documentation.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as requested
- Understanding of Project Drawings and Specifications.

Business Development Manager
North Branch Construction is currently seeking an energetic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, foster new client relationships, and develop innovative strategies to meet our company's ambitious goals. Your proactive approach will help us strengthen our position as a top-tier construction partner.
Essential Functions:
- Determine client and potential client needs and evaluate company resources and capabilities in light of those needs.
- Meet with client and potential client management, staff and supervisory personnel to explain character, policies, skills, resources and capabilities of North Branch Construction.
- Facilitate the development of company business plans and goals, and in developing strategy for managing client contacts regarding new work, contract negotiation, and future work potential.
- Notify President and Marketing Coordinator of sales activities and approximate timing for company proposal and bid submissions.
- Identify new work leads and manage lead follow-up, record keeping and information distribution (utilizing CRM Software).
- Assist Marketing Coordinator in the development of effective promotional literature for the firm, as directed by the President.
- Assist Marketing Coordinator with the ability to complete a proposal from start to finish, as directed by the President.
- Oversight and management of our client relationship software.
- Assist Marketing Coordinator with marketing and data collection tasks, as directed by the President.
- Act as corporate representative to client and/or industry organizations (requires attendance at after normal business hours networking/meetings).
Competency:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to identify and locate new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Must understand the sales process and be able to close sales.
- Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, driving and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full time salary position. Expected hours of work are 45 - 50 hours per week, depending on any particular weeks after normal business hours networking events attended.

Education & Experience: A general understanding of the construction industry and the different contract delivery methods. Experience in marketing business development and/or sales functions. Excellent organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and strong computer skills essential.

Project Coordinator
North Branch Construction is currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. This individual will coordinate and participate in the development, distribution, and maintenance of the contract documentation to ensure conformance with internal and external deliverables guidelines, schedules, and project scope. Position serves as coordinator during all project phases working in conjunction with the allocated Project Management staff both internal and external, consultants, owner, sub-contractor, and agencies to ensure proper documentation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical and administrative support to project manager(s) and to the project team.
- Organizes and expedites flow of work through supervisor’s office and/or administrative department. Serves as resource to others on North Branch policies and procedures or in the resolution of moderate to complex problems or issues.
- Coordinate and support the processing and approval of construction change documentation including change directives, change order, and other documents, as required.
- Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, reports, confidential documents and/or forms, and related materials or guides the work of other staff that produces these materials. Including correspondence involving high-level officials inside and outside the organization.
- Assists in submittal procedures, RFI’s procedures, and monthly invoices.
- Reviews budgets with Project Managers, prepares and submits correction reports/notes. Interacts with Accounting Department to provide information and resolve issues.
- Assist with monthly billing process.
- Support project team with administrative tasks.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
