Hollis Police & Fire

North Branch Construction was awarded the Construction Management contract by the Town of Hollis for three municipal improvement projects. The project included additions and renovations to the existing Police Station and associated site work, additions and renovations to the existing Fire Station and associated site work, construction of a new salt shed for the Department of Public Works, and installation of a fire protection system at the Department of Public Works garage. The first phase of project was the new salt shed for the DPW, which was a pre-fabricated metal-framed building. The frame was wrapped with a 28-mil, PCV-coated polyester fabric. The addition to the fire station included bunk rooms, showers, a locker room, and a kitchen. The police station project included an addition with 4 vehicle bays, an admissions area with holding cell, and renovations to the existing building which included relocation of the entrance and the fit-up of offices throughout the two-story building. Both facilities remained occupied and in full operation throughout the construction period.
