North Branch University is our in-house training and development program designed to provide employees with continuous learning opportunities. Whether it's leadership training, technical skills development, or soft skills enhancement, North Branch University offers courses and workshops tailored to meet the specific needs of our workforce. We are committed to providing employees with the tools and knowledge to grow both professionally and personally.

ABC NH/VT

As a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) New Hampshire/Vermont Chapter, our employees have access to a wide range of professional development programs. These include apprenticeship programs, safety training, leadership development, and specialized courses that are essential for career advancement. Through ABC NH/VT, employees can also earn industry-recognized certifications that increase their value in the workforce. Examples of courses our employees have participated in with ABC NH/VT include the Construction Supervision Certificate, also known as the Super Cert Program and the Future Leaders in Construction (FLIC) program. ApprenticeshipNH

North Branch Construction partners with ApprenticeshipNH, an initiative that helps individuals gain the skills and certifications needed to succeed in the construction industry. This program combines on-the-job learning with classroom instruction, providing employees with valuable experience and credentials that can lead to career advancement in the trades. CONCORD REGIONAL TECHNICAL CENTER (CRTC) PROGRAM

We partner with the Concord Regional Technical Center (CRTC) to provide high school students with the opportunity to gain exposure to the construction trades through hands-on learning experiences. This program allows students to earn credits while working on real-world projects, helping to pave the way for future careers in the construction industry. Our Human Resources Manager serves on the CRTC Advisory Team.

HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENT INTERNSHIPS

We are committed to helping the next generation of construction professionals gain hands-on experience. Our internship programs are open to high school and college students, offering them the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals in a real-world environment. Interns gain valuable insights into the construction industry and build a strong foundation for their future careers. In the past several years, North Branch Construction has extended employment offers to some of the interns participating in this program.

I BUILD NH

At North Branch Construction, we are proud to work with I Build NH, an initiative dedicated to promoting careers in the construction industry. This program is designed to engage and inspire the next generation of skilled construction professionals by offering hands-on learning experiences, career exploration, and industry-specific training.

The I Build NH Program connects students, job seekers, and individuals looking to transition into construction with real-world opportunities that pave the way for success in the industry. Through this relationship, we help provide participants with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to build rewarding careers in construction.

SAFETY TRAINING

Our safety training program is designed to ensure that all field employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely on job sites. Non-managerial field employees receive OSHA-10 Safety Training, which covers essential safety standards, hazard recognition, and best practices for preventing workplace injuries. For those in managerial roles in the field, as well as our project management team, we provide more advanced OSHA-30 Safety Training, offering a deeper understanding of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency procedures. This comprehensive approach ensures that both front-line workers and leadership are well-prepared to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

FIRST AID & CPR CERTIFICATION

The safety and well-being of our employees are top priorities. We offer CPR and First Aid training to all employees, ensuring that everyone is prepared to respond effectively in case of an emergency. These courses not only promote a safe work environment, but also give employees valuable life-saving skills that can be used both at work and at home.
