(Manchester, NH) North Branch Construction was honored with the coveted Chairman’s Award at the 2023 ABC NH/VT Excellence in Construction Awards Gala held recently in Manchester, NH for the SIG Experience Center project in Epping, NH. The Chairman’s Award recognizes the “Best of the Best” of all projects submitted for consideration in the awards competition.
The SIG Experience Center project also received an Excellence in Construction Award in the ‘Commercial over $10 million’ category. Project Manager Bruce Blazon accepted the award on behalf of North Branch Construction. He was joined onstage by Sig Sauer U.S. Director of Facilities, Jeff Chierepko, Project Architect Duene Cowan of Cowan | Goudreau Architects, and North Branch Construction Project Superintendent Dylan Register and Project Intern, Megan Roy.
The two-story, 40,500 square foot facility includes a 6,000 square foot SIG SAUER Flagship retail showroom, state-of-the-art indoor shooting ranges, a high-tech interactive SIG SAUER Museum depicting the history of SIG SAUER and a one-of-a-kind educational experience for SIG SAUER products. A members-only Club 1751 lounge, conference and events facility, and corporate office space round out the unique facility.

The ABC Excellence in Construction Award winners are determined by an independent panel of judges based on execution of design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, safety, and other considerations. The competition includes Awards of Merit and Excellence in several categories including Electrical, Mechanical, Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, and Design-Build.
