North Branch Construction Soon to Begin Two Fire Stations Approved at Recent Town Votes

(Concord, NH) North Branch Construction of Concord has been serving as Construction Manager to the Towns of Warner, Londonderry, and Newbury over several months to provide pre-construction services including estimating, pre-bond marketing initiatives, and assistance at town meeting presentations for the upcoming fire station projects in these towns. At recent town votes, bonds were approved for both the new Warner Fire Station and the addition and renovation of the Central Fire Station in Londonderry.

Warrant Article #2 asked the Town of Londonderry for $6,400,000 worth of improvements to the existing Central Fire Station located on Mammoth Road. The addition and renovation will provide the station with two additional apparatus bays, a separate decontamination room, expanded training and EOC space, a secure dispatch facility, and HVAC Systems Upgrades. Port One Architects from Portsmouth, NH is providing design for this project, with construction scheduled to start later this summer.

Warrant Article #4 in the Town of Warner requested $2,750,000 for the new Warner Fire Station, to be located at West Main Street & Spit Rock Road. The fire station will consist of a one-story, 4,770-square-foot administration wing and a 5,300-square-foot apparatus bay, which will provide space to house all of the Fire Department’s apparatus vehicles. A new, separate decontamination room will be located just off the apparatus bay. SMP Architecture from Concord, NH has already provided design and construction documents for this project, so construction will begin this spring.
