North Branch Construction was chosen Design/Build Contractor for the new Science Building at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy in Northwood, NH and teamed with Dennis Mires, P.A. The Architects to provide architectural services for the new 14,000 square foot, $1.9 million project. The new 3-story building is nestled between two existing school buildings on the south side of Route 4 in Northwood, NH. The completed facility consists of 4 working science labs and 4 classrooms on two floors. The new facility is handicapped accessible, including an elevator and specially equipped science labs. The bottom floor remained open for future expansion of a kitchen and cafeteria, to be completed at a later date. Construction was completed in late October 2003, 7 weeks ahead of the contract schedule.
