North Branch Construction Recognized at ABC Safety Awards
North Branch Construction, Inc. is the proud recipient of multiple awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors of VT/NH Safety Awards. North Branch received Second Place in the ‘Over 50,000 Man-Hours’ category, as well as a Silver Level ‘Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP)’ Award. The Concord-based construction firm also received an award for ‘Zero Cases Resulting in Lost Workdays’ in the ‘Over 50,000 Man-Hours’ category. North Branch Construction has always worked hard to raise the bar in their dedication to safety responsibility in order to provide their clients with unrivaled service by maintaining the highest standards possible. The construction company has gone a step beyond the recommended OSHA 10 Hour training and obtained OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training certification for all Project Managers and Superintendents – an accomplishment few Construction Management firms can claim. Additionally, they have implemented safety requirements on their jobsites including the use of high-visibility safety shirts and vests and safety-toed footwear to be worn at all times by all North Branch construction personnel. North Branch also implements a Safety Fine Program on all of their projects with the intent to increase hazard recognition, reduce risk of injury, and create an overall safer working environment for all personnel working on North Branch construction sites. It requires subcontractors as well as North Branch’s own employees to abide by the OSHA Construction Industry Regulations at all times. When safety violations are observed, it is North Branch’s objective to correct them immediately. Consequently, North Branch issues safety fines for any repeat violations for both subcontractors and itself as well. At the end of each year, North Branch donates all proceeds from the Safety Fine Program to the non-profit charities and organizations that they work with.
