Do you know what the leading cause of death is in the construction industry?
It’s suicide.
In fact, the rate of death by suicide for construction workers is 5.5 times the rate of all other construction fatalities on the jobsite.
North Branch Construction is committed to promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention in the construction industry. On September 9th we will be participating in a nationwide stand-down to observe a moment of silence to honor those we have lost and take a stand against this preventable tragedy. Because together, we can save lives.
