Henniker Fire & Rescue

The Town of Henniker contracted North Branch Construction to be the Construction Manager for their new Fire and Rescue Building. The concrete and wood building consisted of a 5,440-square-foot vehicle storage area and a two-story, 4,800-square-foot area for dispatch, meetings housing area. The project was unique in the fact that North Branch Construction coordinated the work of both fire department and town volunteers as well as professional subcontractors to complete the project. The sitework, electrical work and interior painting were all completed by the volunteer labor. The volunteer workforce coupled with low cost design elements enabled the project to be completed for significantly less than the going rate for a new fire station at the time. Christopher Williams of Meredith, NH was the architect for the project.
