Colby-Sawyer College Windy Hill School

As Construction Manager, North Branch provided pre-constructon services, working with the owner and architect to develop the GMP, with actual construction beginning in September 2009. The Windy Hill program at Colby Sawyer is a College/Community Partnership, providing faculty and families of the area with day-care, kindergarten, and after-school programs serviced by the students and faculty of Colby Sawyer’s Social Sciences and Education Program. Construction of this new facility brought the program under one roof, formerly housed in lower levels of several residence halls. The new school features classrooms with built-in kitchens and computer work areas, seminar rooms, two technology-enabled “smart” classrooms for child development classes, an early childhood curriculum laboratory and resource library along with faculty offices. The project is Silver LEED level certified.
