North Branch Begins Heating System Conversion at Dartmouth College

North Branch Construction of Concord recently began major renovation work on the mechanical system at Dartmouth College’s Bartlett Hall. This fast-track summer project will include the removal of all steam radiation in the building and the conversion to an all hot water system. This type of heating system is being considered for implementation campus-wide and Bartlett Hall has been selected as the pilot project. Built in 1890, Bartlett Hall houses the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Languages and Literatures (DAMELL) as well as the Arts & Humanities Resource Center. North Branch Construction has completed several projects on the Dartmouth College campus including most recently the interior renovation of the Jones Media Center. Construction is expected to be complete this Fall. Engineering for the project is provided by Rist-Frost-Shumway, Inc. of Laconia, NH.
