North Branch was chosen Design/Build contractor for this $1.8 million project after providing the owner with a fixed price design/build proposal. Dave Udelsman of Udelsman Associates, Hollis, NH joined the North Branch Construction Team as architect for the project. The project included 3 new additions to the Tafa office and manufacturing facility located on Pembroke Road in Concord, NH. The additions added a total of 23,300 square feet to the existing facility and includes a new high bay area, wire room and two story office space. Site work began in early March and by the end of March the split face masonry block walls were complete on the two story addition and steel was being hoisted into place. As the office addition was completed in early June, masonry began on the two other additions. Business continued as usual throughout construction at this facility which manufactures thermal spray systems and products for various applications from acoustical enclosures to high quality wire arc coatings. The project also included some minor renovations to the existing facility. Construction was completed in July, about one month ahead of schedule.
