North Branch was chosen Construction Manager in March for the new 4,000 square foot Evans Expressmart located at exit 9 off Route 89 in Warner, NH. Phase I of the construction included complete demolition of an existing facility which began March 31st. The self-service gas station was only closed for three days during the demolition, and a temporary store and gas station remained opened throughout construction. The new wood framed building features a brick veneer exterior. The interior of the facility includes a convenience store with a food court featuring a Pizza Hut, TCBY, and Subway sandwich shop. A new self-serve gas station was also included in Phase I of the construction. Phase I of the construction was completed in 60 days and the mini-mart was open to customers for the busy Memorial Day Weekend. Phase II, consisting of the food court, was open for business a short time later. This fast track project was completed on schedule and approximately $30,000 below the guaranteed maximum price! CHA & Co. of New London, NH was the Architect for the project. The Evans Expressmart is owned by the Evans Group of Lebanon, NH.
