In 1993, North Branch competitively bid to construct a new Cricenti’s Market in Hillsborough, NH and was awarded the 20,000 square foot project. Due to the successful execution of the Hillsborough project, North Branch negotiated the Bristol contract on a Construction Management basis. The new 21,295 square foot facility is located on Route 104 in Bristol, NH. North Branch broke ground May 12th and steel erection began in the first week of August. Trusses were in place August 30th. The exterior includes a masonry facade with vinyl siding and trim. The interior features special trim signage and decorative columns. The facility is very similar in appearance to the Hillsborough market, although slightly larger. The project was completed on schedule and approximately $75,000 less than the guaranteed maximum price! The market opened for business November 18th as scheduled. Robert Cricenti, owner of the supermarket, also owns stores in New London and Hillsborough, NH. SFC Engineering Partnership of Concord, NH were the lead project engineers and Samyn/D’Elia of Ashland, NH was consulting architect for the project.
